Description

You will build and maintain scalable mobile software and ecommerce applications, executing projects from discovery through implementation.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Execute mobile engineering projects from discovery through implementation.
• Troubleshoot production issues and business-critical bugs on mobile devices.
• Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to team development.
• Implement business solutions and provide ongoing mobile engineering support.
• Develop and improve action plans for mobile software lifecycles.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience building scalable ecommerce applications or mobile software.
• Expertise in Android software development using Java.
• Proficiency with MVVM, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience developing mobile network clients using HTTP, REST APIs, and Google Cloud Messaging.
• Hands-on experience with Google Play APIs, including Maps, Location, and Cloud Messaging.
• Competency in software debugging using debuggers, loggers, and crash report tools.
• Experience analyzing memory issues and leaks using tools like DDMS or MAT.
• Proficiency with Git/GitHub and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience performing unit and integration testing for Android code.
