Description

You will build and maintain Android applications using modern design components and architectural patterns. You own the full development lifecycle from UI implementation to release.

Responsibilities

• Develop Android applications using Java and Kotlin with extensive use of Android SDK frameworks.
• Integrate ArcGIS libraries to enable map-based features and demand points within the application.
• Build XML layout files based on UX team wireframes and implement precise UI specifications.
• Write unit tests using JUnit4 and Mockito to cover edge cases and ensure device usability.
• Manage source code with GIT and support the release process across SIT, UAT, and Production environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in Android development.
• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin.
• Experience with MVVM, LiveData, and RxJava.
• Hands-on use of Room DB, Coroutines, and Dagger.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK frameworks and XML.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs via Retrofit.
• Proficiency with GIT for version control.
• Ability to debug code using the Android Debugger.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
