Description

You will design and build native Android applications using established frameworks and design patterns. This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Write and test code that meets non-functional requirements and team standards.
• Conduct peer code reviews to evaluate feasibility and maintainability.
• Collaborate with agile teams to gather requirements and propose technical solutions.
• Analyze system changes and provide recommendations to product owners.
• Mentor junior developers on software engineering principles and Android best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience developing native Android applications.
• 3+ years of Java development experience.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Android app architecture.
• Proficiency with software design patterns.
• Experience interacting with RESTful services.
• Proficiency in automated testing using JUnit, Robolectric, and Espresso.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies.
• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kotlin and emerging Android SDK components.
• Strong understanding of MVVM architecture.
• Familiarity with security protocols including OAuth, OpenID, and Android Keystore.
