You will build and maintain high-quality Android applications using Java.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
• Design, build, and maintain reusable Java code.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Design applications around natural user interfaces like touch.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Android development.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK and various Android versions.
• Experience handling different screen sizes and resolutions.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services.
• Deep understanding of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines.

Preferred Skills

• Any Graduate degree.
