Description

You will build and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and Java.

Responsibilities

• Translate designs and wireframes into functional, high-quality code.
• Design, build, and maintain reusable and performant Java and Kotlin code.
• Ensure application responsiveness, quality, and optimal performance across diverse screen sizes.
• Identify, debug, and correct performance bottlenecks and software bugs.
• Maintain code organization, quality, and automation processes including Git versioning and CI.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK and various Android versions.
• Proficiency with Kotlin, Java, and Android development patterns.
• Experience with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services.
• Practical knowledge of offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with sensors like gyroscopes and accelerometers.
• Understanding of Google Android design principles and interface guidelines.
• Experience with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
• Familiarity with AWS.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
