Description

You will build and maintain scalable mobile software and e-commerce applications for Android.

Responsibilities

• Execute mobile engineering projects from discovery through implementation.
• Troubleshoot business and production issues on mobile devices.
• Support the implementation of business solutions and mobile engineering requirements.
• Participate in peer code reviews and team development.
• Develop and improve action plans for mobile software lifecycles.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in Android development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and MVVM architecture.
• Mobile software development using Java.
• Experience with HTTP protocols, REST APIs, and Google Cloud Messaging.
• Integration of Google Play APIs, including Maps and Location services.
• Proficiency with Git/GitHub for distributed source code version control.
• Software debugging using debuggers, loggers, and crash report tools.
• Memory analysis and troubleshooting using DDMS or MAT.
• Experience with design patterns, MVC, data structures, and algorithms.

Preferred Skills

• Unit and integration testing for Android code.
• Working knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with embedded real-time systems with limited memory and processing resources.
