Description

You will design and architect Android-based systems within the automotive infotainment and telematics domain, owning low-level implementation and system compliance for vehicle platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design system components using SOLID principles and established design patterns.
• Implement custom Hardware Abstraction Layers (HAL) for Radio, Vehicle, Audio, and GNSS.
• Manage Android OS migrations and implement security protocols including SELinux, FBE, and FDE.
• Execute Android CTS and VTS testing to ensure system compliance.
• Develop low-level interfaces using AIDL and HIDL.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in C++ (STL, Templates, Exceptions, Threading), Java, and Python.
• Deep expertise in Android Automotive and the automotive domain.
• Strong knowledge of Android Framework, Car Service, Android Treble, and VNDK.
• Proven experience with AIDL and HIDL.
• Hands-on experience implementing custom HALs.
• Experience with Android security, SELinux, FBE, and FDE.
• Experience with Android CTS and VTS.

Preferred Skills

• Background working with automotive clients.
