Description

Lead the technical direction and architectural design of Android applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Android developers through technical guidance and constructive code reviews.
• Collaborate with solution architects to define API implementation details and application integration.
• Drive projects from requirement refinement through technical design to successful completion.
• Manage the release process and submission workflows for the Google Play Store.
• Monitor application performance and analyze complex technical requirements to propose optimal solutions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Android development.
• Expertise in Kotlin and Android Jetpack components, specifically LiveData and ViewModel.
• Deep understanding of Android app architecture and design patterns.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and conducting pull request reviews.
• Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with application performance monitoring tools like New Relic.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with GraphQL and AppSync.
• Experience with AWS technologies including Lambda, CloudWatch, and Kibana.
