Description

You will own the intersection of hardware and software, focusing on Android OS customization and low-level driver development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Board Support Packages (BSP) for reference boards.
• Port BSPs from SoC vendors and customize Android (AOSP) code for specific client requirements.
• Modify the Linux Kernel and U-Boot to ensure stable software foundations.
• Develop and integrate device drivers to enable communication and control of hardware peripherals.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues and contribute to the bring-up process of new development boards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in hardware troubleshooting and development board bring-up.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Java, and Python.
• Strong background in BSP porting and Android OS customization.
• Hands-on experience with U-Boot and the Linux Kernel.
• Experience with device driver development and integration.
• Knowledge of Android (AOSP) development and framework customization.
• Familiarity with SQL.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
