Description

You will build and maintain Android applications, integrating mobile clients with backend services and optimizing performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve mobile application features in collaboration with designers and product owners.
• Design solutions for open-ended problems and iterate rapidly on new ideas.
• Write, test, and debug code while managing legacy codebases.
• Integrate mobile clients with bespoke backend services via REST APIs.
• Perform performance analysis and optimization to ensure high-quality user experiences.

Required Skills

• 4 to 9 years of experience in Android development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, and the Android SDK.
• Experience with asynchronous coding patterns, Coroutines, and Flow.
• Strong understanding of RxJava and REST API integration.
• Hands-on experience with build tools including Gradle, GitHub Actions, and Circle CI.
• Ability to implement Unit and Integration tests using JUnit and Espresso.
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration patterns and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with dependency injection using Dagger.
• Competency in MVVM or MVI architecture and Jetpack Compose.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in globally distributed teams.
• Background in Cloud & Data Engineering environments.
