Description

You will design, build, and maintain complex Android applications, integrating low-level hardware capabilities and managing the full software engineering lifecycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex mobile applications on the Android platform.
• Integrate hardware capabilities including GPS, accelerometers, external storage, and Bluetooth.
• Participate in architectural discussions and document technical designs and software approaches.
• Implement mobile app instrumentation, user analytics, and automated testing.
• Manage the software engineering life cycle using Scrum methodologies and Git-based version control.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience as an SDE.
• 4+ years of experience building and maintaining complex Android applications.
• Deep expertise in native Android development using Java and Kotlin.
• Proven track record of publishing at least one app to a production environment.
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with CI/CD concepts, unit/integration tests, TDD, and code coverage.
• Proficiency with Git-based version control systems.
• Experience with mobile app instrumentation and user analytics.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cross-platform frameworks such as React Native or Xamarin.
• Knowledge of web development using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with IaaS/PaaS environments like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
