Description

Develop, improve, and release the Sams Android app while providing mobile engineering support to the business.

Responsibilities

• Implement business solutions and deliver features in collaboration with designers, product managers, and other engineers.
• Troubleshoot production and business issues on mobile devices.
• Participate in peer code reviews within an agile development environment.
• Perform unit and integration testing on Kotlin code.
• Analyze memory issues and leaks using debugging tools.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mobile app development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Deep understanding of Android SDK and Google SDKs.
• Experience with MVVM architecture and design patterns.
• Competency with Git and GitHub for version control.
• Experience with software debugging, including debuggers, loggers, and crash report tools.
• Familiarity with Figma, Charles, and Postman.
• Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the retail industry.
• Strong knowledge of SOLID principles.
