Description

You will design, build, and maintain native and cross-platform Android applications from concept through release.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build native and cross-platform applications.
• Collaborate with teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Develop features, fix defects, and improve overall application performance.
• Support the application lifecycle including testing, release, and support.
• Write unit tests focusing on edge cases, usability, and reliability.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Native Android development using Kotlin or Java and the Android SDK.
• Cross-platform mobile development with React Native, Flutter, or Xamarin.
• Hands-on experience with Kotlin Coroutines.
• Intermediate experience with Java, Spring, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with LiveData and Flows.
• Proficiency in unit, component, integration, and functional testing (JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber).
• Familiarity with MVVM or MVP architecture patterns.
• Knowledge of mobile security guidelines and Agile practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI-CD practices and version control systems.
• Ability to debug complex application issues.
