Description

You will build and maintain scalable mobile applications, supporting business-critical engineering projects from discovery through implementation.

Responsibilities

• Execute mobile engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery of business-critical features.
• Troubleshoot production issues and address business requirements for mobile devices.
• Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to team development.
• Develop and improve action plans for mobile software delivery.
• Provide technical support for mobile business solutions.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience building scalable ecommerce applications or mobile software.
• Extensive experience with Android software development using Java.
• Proven track record of publishing an Android application.
• Proficiency with HTTP protocols, REST APIs, and Google Cloud Messaging.
• Experience with Google Play APIs, including Maps and Location.
• Experience with distributed source code version control using Git/GitHub.
• Expertise in design patterns, MVC, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with software debugging using debuggers, loggers, and crash report tools.
• Skill in analyzing memory leaks using tools like DDMS or MAT.
• Experience with unit and integration testing of Android code.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of embedded real-time systems with limited memory and processing resources.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with distributed systems and mobile network clients.
