Description

You will own the development and execution of mobile engineering projects for scalable ecommerce applications, guiding features from discovery through implementation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Develop and improve action plans for mobile software delivery.
• Troubleshoot business and production issues on mobile devices.
• Participate in peer code reviews and team development initiatives.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience building scalable ecommerce applications or mobile software.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java for Android development.
• Experience with MVVM architecture and design patterns.
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience developing mobile network clients using HTTP, REST APIs, and Google Cloud Messaging.
• Hands-on experience with Google Play APIs, including Maps and Location.
• Expertise in software debugging using debuggers, loggers, and crash report tools.
• Experience analyzing memory issues and leaks using tools like DDMS or MAT.
• Competency in unit and integration testing for Android code.
• Experience with Git and GitHub for version control.
• Experience working within Scrum/Agile methodologies.
• A published Android application is required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automation testing.
• Knowledge of embedded real-time systems with limited memory and processing resources.
