Description

You will own the Android frontend platform, building shared libraries, tools, and patterns that enable high-quality development across the organization.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test shared Android libraries and UI components.
• Build CI/CD tooling to improve the developer experience.
• Drive adoption of strong software architecture and development best practices.
• Break down complex technical problems into elegant, easy-to-use solutions.
• Write performant, concurrent code that consumes web services.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java using the Android SDK.
• Deep understanding of the Android app lifecycle and design patterns (MVVM or MVI).
• Experience with dependency injection.
• Proven ability to implement automated testing with high coverage.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly in writing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building multi-module Android apps and maintaining reusable libraries.
• Experience building software for iOS or Web platforms.
• Fluency with scripting languages including Shell, Python, or Ruby.
