Description

Develop and integrate low-level services for the Android Automotive platform. You will own vehicle-specific functionality, power management, and OTA update mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Integrate vehicle-specific features and power management using VHAL and Power HAL teams.
• Manage OTA updates by defining requirements, implementing update mechanisms, and overseeing rollout strategies.
• Implement vendor native services, Automotive Android Power services, and system partition management.
• Develop Android framework APIs, specifically those related to audio.
• Handle socket programming and low-level system integration.

Required Skills

• 5 to 7 years of experience for FO roles, or 3 to 5 years for Developer roles.
• Proficiency in C++, Java, and Kotlin.
• Deep understanding of Android Automotive OS and the Android framework.
• Hands-on experience with VHAL and Power HAL integration.
• Experience with Android SDK and Android Studio IDE.
• Knowledge of automotive hardware communication including CAN, SPI, and I2C.
• Strong foundation in OOPs and socket programming.
• Experience with system partition management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with BT/Wi-Fi or Audio/Video framework development.
