Description

You will own the development, debugging, and maintenance of core Android framework components and AOSP subsystems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve failures in CTS and VTS test suites to ensure platform compliance.
• Implement and maintain Android Framework components within the AOSP codebase.
• Debug and fix issues related to Android HAL architecture and hardware abstraction layers.
• Manage configuration tasks, including writing and updating Sepolicy rules and board config files.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Android Framework and AOSP development.
• Strong proficiency in Java and C/C++ programming.
• In-depth knowledge of Android HAL and AOSP internal architecture.
• Experience with Android security policies, specifically Sepolicy management.
• Familiarity with board configuration and device bring-up processes.
• Ability to diagnose and fix complex CTS/VTS integration issues.
