Description

You will lead the development and optimization of complex Android applications, owning the release pipeline and performance tuning.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Debug applications to identify memory leaks and performance bottlenecks using ADB and Proguard.
• Develop high-quality code using object-oriented, functional, and reactive programming paradigms.
• Implement advanced Android features including Custom Views, Jetpack Compose, and Accessibility Services.
• Manage background processing and multi-threading to ensure smooth application performance.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and manage data flow using standard Android libraries.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and the Android SDK ecosystem.
• Extensive experience working on two or more Android applications.
• Hands-on experience with Retrofit, OkHttp, Glide, Picasso, RxJava, Gson, and Arch-components.
• Strong debugging skills using ADB and Proguard.
• Deep understanding of multi-threading and object-oriented programming.
• Proficiency with Git and Continuous Integration workflows.
• Knowledge of Material Design guidelines and common mobile UX patterns.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Functional and Reactive programming paradigms.
