Description

You will lead end-to-end Android development and manage onshore and offshore team members.

Responsibilities

• Own the full SDLC, from architectural design to deployment, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Drive the development team to meet project goals and ensure timely delivery.
• Enforce coding standards through rigorous code reviews and technical implementation guidance.
• Mentor team members and align development with established architectural designs.
• Manage project delivery with a heavy emphasis on offshore team coordination.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Extensive experience developing for Android 4.4 (KitKat) and above.
• Proficiency in Kotlin-based development.
• Expertise in Android Services and Broadcast Receivers.
• Hands-on experience with reactive programming.
• Experience delivering Android applications to a large userbase.
• Strong understanding of HTTP protocols, RESTful web services, and HTTP-compliant caching.
• Experience with networking frameworks such as Retrofit, Picasso, or Volley.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with RxAndroid or RxJava.
• Experience working with BlueBird devices.
