Description

Lead the architectural design and development of Android-based applications while managing offshore engineering teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer, system, and safety requirements to derive software architecture specifications.
• Design, document, and implement reusable software architectures.
• Lead technical meetings and perform code reviews for offshore development teams.
• Utilize AAOS platform functionality to integrate Automotive HAL, Voice Assistant, and other applications.
• Develop and implement architecture verification plans.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Android software architecture.
• 2+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Hands-on coding proficiency in Java, Kotlin, and C++.
• Proven experience leading architectural discussions with vendors and clients.
• Working knowledge of AWS.
• Strong project management and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience working with Android Automotive OS (AAOS).
