Description

You will design and build advanced Android applications, owning the full development lifecycle from feature definition to release.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Integrate with outside data sources and APIs, including RESTful and GraphQL endpoints.
• Write unit tests focusing on edge cases and application performance.
• Maintain code quality and automation while participating in code reviews.

Required Skills

• 5–7 years of professional experience in Android app development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK and handling various screen sizes.
• Experience with Android Jetpack components (LiveData, ViewModel, Navigation, Room).
• Familiarity with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with third-party libraries like Retrofit, Glide, and Firebase.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Experience with version control systems, specifically Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of design patterns such as MVVM or Clean Architecture.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit and Espresso.
