Description

Develop native Android applications with a focus on custom UI components and API integration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build custom Views and reusable components for a shared design system.
• Develop APIs to connect mobile applications to backend services.
• Collaborate with multi-platform teams to ensure quality, security, and compliance standards.
• Oversee the updating and testing of business continuation plans.
• Mentor junior staff and peers on technical implementation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Expertise in Kotlin and Android SDK.
• Strong knowledge of Jetpack Compose.
• Experience with Gradle and Maven build systems.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational database management.
• Working knowledge of Java, COBOL, and JCL.
• Competency in Unix scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD techniques and large-scale release planning.
• Ability to build accessibility-compliant components.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in financial services or regulatory document processing.
• Familiarity with OpenText Exstream.
