Description

You will develop and maintain applications for Android OS-based smartphones using modern Android tech stack.

Responsibilities

• Increase quality and stability of software products, identify bugs, increase test coverage, and implement tools to prevent regressions.
• Work with new generation consumer hardware, setting up integrations between this hardware and existing companion apps on Android and iOS.
• Coordinate feature launches across multiple teams, maintaining quality standards and test coverage.
• Troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve problems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage projects independently.
• Expertise in Android development.
• Proficiency with Jetpack Compose.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with next-generation Android hardware, including flashing firmware and using command line tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with iOS development.
• Experience building Design System or UI-heavy applications.
• Familiarity with Backend technologies like Hack or PHP.
