Description

You will develop and maintain Android OS applications, ensuring stability and integrating with new consumer hardware.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using the modern Android tech stack.
• Improve software quality by increasing test coverage and implementing regression prevention tools.
• Integrate new-generation hardware with existing companion apps on Android and iOS.
• Coordinate feature launches across teams while maintaining quality standards.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and apply system changes to resolve problems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in Android development.
• Proficiency with Jetpack Compose.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage projects independently.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with next-generation Android hardware, including flashing firmware and command line tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with iOS development.
• Background building Design Systems or UI-heavy applications.
• Familiarity with Backend technologies like Hack or PHP.
