Description

You will perform deep security assessments and reverse engineering on Android SDKs and applications to detect malicious behavior.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct complex de-compilation, unpacking, and code reviews to identify malware, PUPs, and advanced persistent threats.
• Develop static and dynamic signatures for mobile code, binaries, and executable code.
• Analyze software for security policy violations, vulnerabilities, and improper coding practices.
• Write complex technical reports for non-technical audiences and perform peer reviews of investigations.
• Identify weaknesses in detection and automation to recommend process improvements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in reverse engineering and security analysis.
• Proficiency with Jadx, Ghidra, Frida, IDA Pro, and Burp.
• Strong experience in Java, Kotlin, and JavaScript.
• In-depth understanding of Android internals and Android security topics.
• Expertise in static and dynamic analysis of APKs and SDKs.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and analyze source code software.
• Knowledge of mobile app store policies including Ads, PHAs, and Developer policies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with YARA signature development.
• Threat research using OSINT tools like VirusTotal, Exploit DB, and MITRE.
• Background in Android development or Mobile Capture the Flag (CTF) competitions.
