Description

Reverse engineer malicious Android applications and SDKs to identify security threats. Analyze code using static and dynamic techniques to detect malicious behavior.

Responsibilities

• Unpack and reverse engineer code using static and dynamic analysis.
• Perform binary and APK analysis to identify malicious behavior.
• Research advanced threats and APTs using open-source intelligence tools.
• Develop detection signatures, such as YARA rules.
• Analyze Android application lifecycles, API usage, and AOSP internals.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mobile security or software development.
• Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, and Flutter.
• Hands-on experience with reverse engineering tools: Jadx, Ghidra, Frida, IDA Pro, and Burp.
• Experience with ELF (Native Binaries) reverse engineering.
• Strong understanding of Android fundamentals and application creation processes.
• Ability to perform SQL queries.
• Knowledge of mobile app store policies regarding ads and potentially harmful applications.
• Deep understanding of cryptography, authentication security, rooting, and packing.
• Competency in network protocols and interception.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using VirusTotal, ExploitDB, and MITRE for threat research.
