Description

You will own system-side framework development, focusing on low-level components rather than standard application-level tasks.

You will develop system services and libraries within the Android framework, translating business requirements into technical specifications for low-level components. You will design and implement features involving Android system classes, telephony, and messaging. You will benchmark and optimize performance for low-level C-based libraries and system components. You will analyze code quality and architectural integrity for new feature development.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Android development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, and C++.
• Hands-on experience with Android JNI and NDK concepts.
• Deep understanding of Android SDK, framework, and library components.
• Strong expertise in multi-threading, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with Android telephony protocols including LTE, CDMA, EvDo, WCDMA, and GSM/EDGE.
• Knowledge of VoLTE, VoWiFi, 1xCall, SMS, IMS registration, Bluetooth, and WiFi.
• Experience with TCP/IP and RESTful APIs using JSON and XML.
• Proven ability in performance tuning and offline storage.

Preferred Skills

• Domain knowledge in RIL and Android telephony.
• Experience with low-level C-based libraries.
