Description

You will own Linux BSP development on Qualcomm and NXP SOC platforms, implementing firmware for MCU peripherals and validating system functionality through Python test scripts.

Responsibilities

• Develop Linux BSP for Qualcomm and NXP SoC platforms.
• Implement firmware for MCU peripherals including I2C, I2S, SPI, QSPI, UART, USB, ADC, PWM, and DMA.
• Prototype hardware using evaluation kits and protoboards.
• Write Python test scripts to validate system functionality and automation.
• Apply audio engineering concepts, including signal processing and characterization, to system development.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in embedded systems or firmware development.
• Strong proficiency in C and C++.
• Deep knowledge of Linux and Android System Architecture.
• Experience working with ARM-based microcontrollers.
• Hands-on experience with open-source tools including GCC, OpenOCD, and GDB.
• Working knowledge of MCU peripherals: I2C, I2S, SPI, QSPI, UART, USB, ADC, PWM, and DMA.
• Strong Python development skills for automation and testing.
• Proficiency with revision control using GIT or SVN.
• Fundamental understanding of hardware basics and their relation to firmware.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with audio protocols and signal processing.
