Description

Lead the development of an open-source SDK and manage a small engineering team in Delhi.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own hands-on development, including feature implementation, troubleshooting, and debugging.
• Lead and mentor developers through code reviews and pull request management.
• Design and maintain a functional Android reference app and comprehensive SDK documentation.
• Analyze requirements to investigate feasibility, estimate efforts, and identify risks.
• Participate in open-source community discussions and collaborate with a global team.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of software development experience, with 5+ years focused on Android.
• 5+ years of professional experience using Java and/or Kotlin.
• Strong understanding of Android OS facilities, including activities, fragments, lifecycles, and UI components.
• Proficiency in SQLite database development.
• Experience creating software architecture designs and technical documentation.
• Proven experience leading small technical teams.
• Strong written communication skills for global collaboration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or comparable experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with RESTful APIs, Jetpack libraries, and Kotlin coroutines.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum processes, Material Design, and GitHub CI routines.
