Description

You will own end-to-end feature delivery for production Android applications, ensuring high-quality code, performance, and user experience.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship Android apps using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and MVI architecture with unidirectional data flow.
• Implement async logic using Coroutines and Flow, handling structured concurrency, cancellation, and backpressure.
• Manage data persistence with Room and DataStore, including caching strategies and offline support.
• Integrate REST APIs via Retrofit/OkHttp, handling auth, pagination, retries, and robust error handling.
• Maintain code quality through unit/UI testing, CI builds, linting, and performance profiling.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping Android apps in production.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin, including coroutines and Flow.
• Experience with MVI architecture, reducers, and state modeling.
• Proficiency in Jetpack Compose or XML-based UI development.
• Hands-on experience with Dependency Injection (Hilt/Dagger).
• Familiarity with Room, DataStore, and networking libraries.
• Understanding of Android lifecycle, WorkManager, and background processing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with modularization (multi-module Gradle) and build optimization.
• Knowledge of on-device ML (ML Kit/TFLite) or LLM feature integration.
• Familiarity with security basics like certificate pinning and secure storage.
