Description

Act as a technical SME for major project implementations and support Operation Management Systems within the STO Computer Operation department.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full application lifecycle from requirements gathering and design through development, testing, and deployment.
• Execute vendor system implementations and provide ongoing technical support and problem resolution.
• Enforce department change management processes to maintain system availability and reliability.
• Implement cybersecurity tools and follow procedures to ensure compliance with NERC CIP and FERC Standards of Conduct.
• Participate in an off-hours on-call rotation to support existing applications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in .NET and Angular.
• Experience with DevOps practices and Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Strong knowledge of Web development and Windows services.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2012 and 2019).
• Competency in Object Oriented methodology.
• Practical use of Linux Red Hat and TCP/IP.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS, Python, and Power BI.
• Knowledge of Azure Cognitive Services and SharePoint.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Visio.
