You will build and evolve Angular UI applications, owning the application structure, routing, state patterns, and reusable component architecture.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve Angular UI applications, covering structure, routing, state patterns, and reusable component architecture.
• Modernize legacy UI functionality from JSP/HTML into Angular, focusing on workflow improvement over mere screen recreation.
• Implement scalable UI components and patterns to maintain platform consistency and align with design systems.
• Integrate UI with backend/API teams to enable a future-ready platform.
• Drive migration planning to ensure smooth, phased rollouts with minimal user disruption.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with substantial front-end delivery.
• Strong, hands-on experience building production Single Page Applications (SPAs) using Angular and TypeScript.
• Proven ability to design and implement applications from scratch, including architecture and delivery.
• Experience modernizing or migrating legacy UIs, such as JSP or server-rendered HTML, into modern SPA architectures.
• Expertise with core Angular packages: @angular/core, @angular/common, @angular/platform-browser.
• Proficiency with Angular routing: @angular/router, including lazy loading and route guards.
• Experience implementing Reactive Forms and managing validation strategies using @angular/forms.
• Familiarity with RxJS for observable patterns and async flows.
• Proficiency in unit testing frameworks (Karma/Jasmine or Jest) and E2E testing approaches (Playwright).

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
