Description

You will manage 24x7 Linux server infrastructures supporting mission-critical web applications in Durham, NC.

Responsibilities

• Develop Ansible playbooks and modules to deploy solutions across distributed data center environments.
• Administer Ansible infrastructure, including maintenance, configuration, and SME-level support.
• Install, configure, and tune Red Hat 6 and Red Hat 7 virtual servers.
• Manage Red Hat Satellite System Management Platform and perform server patch management.
• Document software changes, problem resolution steps, and system SOPs.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience with Ansible Core and Ansible Tower.
• Strong proficiency in Linux, Bash, and PowerShell.
• 2+ years of experience coding and scripting with PowerShell, Bash, or Batch files.
• Experience with SQL, including designing tables, structures, views, stored procedures, and functions.
• Experience managing Red Hat Linux operating systems and services.
• Ability to perform system audits and maintenance to ensure system health.
• Experience with Python.
• Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of relative experience, Master's degree and 4 years of experience, or 10 years of IT experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other DevOps tools such as Chef, Salt, or Puppet.
