Description

Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Apache Druid environments for client requirements.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect Apache Druid clusters based on client specifications and industry best practices.
• Configure and deploy Druid clusters in both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Develop ingestion pipelines to process data from multiple sources into Apache Druid.
• Optimize system performance through fine-tuning configurations, query optimization, and indexing strategies.
• Troubleshoot issues regarding Druid performance, stability, and scalability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience architecting, implementing, and optimizing Apache Druid in production.
• In-depth knowledge of Apache Druid architecture, components, and concepts.
• Hands-on expertise with Druid ingestion, indexing, and query optimization.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or Scala.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
• Apache Druid certification(s).
• Master's degree in a technical field.
