Description

You will own the design, configuration, and optimization of Apache Solr search infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure Solr schemas, analyzers, and queries.
• Improve search performance and relevance through tuning and query rewriting.
• Integrate Solr with REST APIs and backend systems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Solr clusters and indexing pipelines.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience with Apache Solr, Lucene, or Elasticsearch.
• Strong Java programming and JVM tuning expertise.
• Experience building and integrating with REST APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Maven, Git).
• Problem-solving mindset and clear communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Python scripting and Linux environments.
