Description

Design, build, and secure APIs using Apigee and Google Cloud Platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement API management solutions including proxies, rate limiting, security, analytics, and developer portals using Apigee.
• Design and develop API specifications using OpenAPI Specifications and YAML.
• Configure API gateway components such as sharedflows, flowhooks, and integrators.
• Integrate systems with internal Data Fabric and CSA Toolsets using serverless and microservices architectures.
• Execute test plans and participate in peer code reviews to maintain design and code quality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of API development, debugging, and troubleshooting using TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, or Python.
• 5+ years of experience designing and developing API gateways for secure, scalable adoption.
• 5+ years of experience deploying software via Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, including Terraform, Helm Charts, and infrastructure-as-code.
• 3+ years of experience with cloud technologies, specifically GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• 3+ years of experience designing and developing cloud-native solutions.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• UI development using Angular.
• Microservices development using Java, SpringBoot, CloudFunctions, GoLang, or GCP SDKs.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Git, Maven, Gradle, or No-SQL databases.
