Description

You will design, build, and maintain APIs that enable data exchange between internal systems and external partners. You own the full delivery lifecycle from planning to production support.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy APIs for internal use and third-party integration.
• Establish and enforce API standards, security, and governance.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and support for production environments.
• Automate API testing and validation processes.
• Manage API gateway features including throttling, caching, and analytics.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in API development.
• Proficiency with .NET, SQL, and Java.
• Hands-on experience with Boomi API development.
• Direct experience with payment processing (ACH, Wire, Check, Card).
• Experience with multiple API Gateways, specifically Boomi and Azure Gateway.
• Knowledge of BAI and X9/XML formats for intraday payment status reporting.
• Understanding of data security and encryption within API management tools.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical implementations.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of ISO 20022 format for payment status reporting.
• Understanding of the full payment processing life cycle (including RTP).
• Experience with ERP integration or Treasury Management initiatives.
