Description

You will design and architect API ecosystems for telecommunications networks, owning the full lifecycle from contract definition to secure, cloud-native deployment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design API contracts using OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
• Architect solutions following REST, GraphQL, or gRPC principles.
• Implement and manage API Gateway and API Management platforms.
• Integrate security protocols including OAuth2, JWT, and OpenID Connect.
• Develop cloud-native architectures and microservices for telecom environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in API design and architecture.
• Expertise in REST, GraphQL, and gRPC.
• Proficiency with OpenAPI/Swagger for contract definition.
• Experience with API Management platforms like Apigee, Kong, AWS API Gateway, or Azure API Management.
• Deep understanding of telecommunications architectures including 5G, SDN/NFV, and BSS/OSS.
• Knowledge of telecom security standards such as 3GPP SA3, TLS, IPsec, and SIM-based authentication.
• Strong grasp of OAuth2, JWT, and OpenID Connect.
• Hands-on experience with Java and cloud-native microservices.
• Solid understanding of network security and API security best practices.
