Define and implement API architecture standards, design patterns, and governance models for scalable, secure solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure RESTful APIs and microservices-based solutions.
• Provide technical leadership on event-driven architectures, integration patterns, and service orchestration.
• Lead API lifecycle management including design, versioning, documentation, and monitoring.
• Drive performance optimization, resiliency, and fault tolerance strategies.
• Mentor development teams and conduct design reviews and code quality assessments.

Required Skills

• 11+ years of experience in software architecture and development.
• Expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of REST, OpenAPI, and API lifecycle governance.
• Experience with Kafka or similar messaging frameworks for async integrations.
• Proficiency in OAuth2, JWT, and secure API design.
• Advanced SQL skills with data modeling experience in Oracle or PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release governance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Domain-Driven Design and service decomposition.
• Familiarity with Spring Batch and Quartz optimization.
