Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure API architectures.
• Define API standards, guidelines, and best practices for development teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into functional API solutions.
• Evaluate existing API infrastructure and recommend technical improvements.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Java API Architect.
• Strong proficiency in Java.
• Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Expertise in integration patterns.
• Experience with API management platforms and gateways.
• Practical knowledge of security protocols including OAuth, JWT, and API keys.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
