Description

Define and implement API architecture standards, design patterns, and governance models for scalable, secure RESTful APIs and microservices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical direction for event-driven architectures, integration patterns, and service orchestration.
• Manage the full API lifecycle including design, versioning, documentation, and monitoring.
• Drive performance optimization, resiliency, and fault tolerance strategies across distributed systems.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure CI/CD enablement and deployment automation.
• Conduct design reviews and mentor development teams on code quality and security best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot ecosystem.
• Deep understanding of REST, OpenAPI, and API lifecycle governance.
• Experience with Kafka or similar messaging frameworks for async integrations.
• Proficiency in OAuth2, JWT, and secure API design principles.
• Solid background in data modeling using PostgreSQL or Oracle.
• Knowledge of domain-driven design and service decomposition patterns.
• Familiarity with deployment pipelines and release governance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Spring Batch and Quartz for optimization.
• Background in enterprise security standards and compliance.
