Description

Build and maintain API automation frameworks using Python and Pytest to ensure system reliability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test scripts for REST APIs using Python and the Requests library.
• Develop and maintain Pytest frameworks for efficient test execution and reporting.
• Validate JSON responses, HTTP status codes, and API contracts.
• Integrate API tests into CI/CD pipelines using Newman and Postman.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects early in the lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in API testing and automation.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience with Pytest framework and test structuring.
• Proficiency with the Python Requests library for API interactions.
• Solid understanding of JSON data structures and API validation techniques.
• Experience using Postman and Newman for test management and execution.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
