Description

You will develop automation frameworks and execute test suites for RESTful APIs.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute API test scripts using JavaScript in Postman.
• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Validate API requests, responses, headers, and parameterization techniques.
• Troubleshoot and debug API issues alongside developers.
• Implement service mocking for test automation.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in API automation.
• Strong proficiency in Java and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with Postman and JavaScript scripting.
• Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and core API concepts.
• Ability to mock services for testing purposes.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Tosca API testing.
• Knowledge of API security mechanisms including OAuth and JWT.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and documentation tools like Swagger or OpenAPI.
