Description

You will execute functional and API testing for mobile applications within the banking and financial services domain.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute API testing using Postman to validate backend functionality.
• Create functional test cases derived from visual designs, user stories, and functional design documents.
• Develop and maintain test artifacts, including test plans, test strategies, test data, and defect reports.
• Manage defects and requirements within Jira and collaborate within Agile teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 2 to 4 years of experience in functional testing for mobile applications.
• Mandatory experience in the BFSI or banking domain.
• Proficiency with Postman for API testing.
• Experience using Zephyr for test case management.
• Hands-on experience with Jira for defect and requirements management.
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in writing SQL queries.
• Experience creating test cases, test data, and defect reports.
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Foundational understanding of automation testing concepts.
