Description

You will build and maintain consumer-facing APIs as a core member of the engineering team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own solutions end-to-end from ideation and scoping through implementation and launch.
• Translate functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and design.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications across multiple layers of the application stack.
• Design well-structured, reusable systems to model customer data and borrower experiences.
• Build software to collect and maintain confidential customer data securely.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in backend engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and Java.
• Experience with Postgres.
• Experience with Docker.
• Proven track record of building developer-centric APIs.
• Experience building products end-to-end, from technical design to testing and delivery.
• Experience working in a startup or startup-style environment focused on rapid product development.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to participate in architectural discussions to ensure performant, fault-tolerant, and maintainable infrastructure.
• Experience with code reviews and collaborative technical feedback.
