The engineer will be responsible for the operational support of DataPower, and API Connect for customer's Gateway team.

Qualifications

" 5+ years of experience in a relevant IT operational/production support position

" 3 years of experience supporting IBM API Connect

" OpenShift/Kubernetes; IBM Cloud Pak products experience is a plus

" Ability to effectively troubleshoot issues

" Ability to analyze logs and identifying the kind of issue and route it accordingly.

" Dashboarding, reporting, and alerting using Splunk or similar tools

" Strong drive for process improvement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

" Troubleshoot / triage Production Issues

" Support on call on weekends as per roaster

" Lead triage call with Incident management team and project teams

" Provide interface support, identify if its a platform specific issue and route to the platform team etc.

" Monitor and report on system health

" Document learnings, root cause analysis and defect prevention steps.
