Description

You will lead the architecture and development of Java-based applications and RESTful services.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Java applications using Java 8 and Spring Boot.
• Implement secure communication protocols including HTTPS and TLS handshakes.
• Develop unit and regression test suites to ensure application stability.
• Optimize API performance through caching and configuration for scalability.
• Troubleshoot and debug application issues while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java development.
• Expertise in Spring Boot and Java 8.
• Deep understanding of API designing and RESTful architectures.
• Experience with API gateways, specifically Apigee.
• Proficiency in reactive and non-blocking execution.
• Hands-on experience with Java multi-threading.
• Knowledge of secure communication via HTTPS and TLS.
• Experience implementing API performance optimization techniques like caching.

Preferred Skills

• Experience containerizing applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
