Description

Job Responsibilities include:

Design and implement automated API test frameworks using Java, Python, SQL, and tools like REST Assured for RESTful and GraphQL services.

Develop and execute integration, performance, and security testing strategies to ensure scalable and reliable API platforms.

Integrate automated API validation into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and AWS to enable continuous testing and deployment.

Establish test strategies and plans for high-volume, distributed systems ensuring resilience and performance.

Mentor SDETs on automation best practices, testable system design, and modern testing methodologies.

Troubleshoot and triage production and integration issues, collaborating with teams to resolve defects and improve system stability.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

8–10 years of experience in API development, automation testing, and distributed systems.

Strong hands-on expertise in API automation testing using Java, Python, SQL, and tools like REST Assured for RESTful and GraphQL services.

Proven experience in integrating API testing into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, AWS) with a focus on performance, security, and scalable test framework development
