Description

You will manage the end-to-end API lifecycle from planning and design through to development, testing, and delivery.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and prototype scalable, cloud-deployed solutions with DevOps integration.
• Deploy API policies using the Apigee Edge platform.
• Implement common APIs following architecture guidelines for logging, authentication, security, and error recovery.
• Contribute to agile delivery by sizing stories and researching new technical solutions.
• Communicate project expectations, risks, and technical decisions to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in API development and delivery.
• Proficiency with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Experience with Apigee Edge and Micro-gateway for API proxy development.
• Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, OpenAPI 3.0, Swagger, JSON, and Microservices.
• Hands-on experience with Nodejs, Reactjs, Angularjs, and Ionic.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases, JMS, and MQ.
• Practical knowledge of OAuth 2 authentication and authorization.
• Proficiency in testing tools including Soap Ui, Selenium, Cucumber, and Postman.
• Competency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Jira, and BitBucket.
